Autos Online Editor/Producer

We're seeking a junior online editor/producer for our car review and ranking site, usnews.rankingsandreviews.com. The Rankings and Reviews team is a small but aggressive team within the U.S. News and World Report family, dedicated to building the best consumer advice site on the Web.

The online autos editor/producer position is a full-time contract position in our Washington, DC office.

The ideal online editor/producer for our team is deadline and detail-oriented, and extremely self-motivated. The ability to analyze and synthesize large quantities of information into easily readable and searchable car reviews is key, as are top-notch online research skills. Experience in online publishing is a plus. Enthusiasm about cars and the automotive market is a big help, but the best person for the job will be just as enamored with writing about minivans as they are with writing about supercars.

The location is kinda miserable for me, but even with my grandiose plans its a given that the first couple of years out of college are up in the air for me. I'll likely be contacting them in the next few days :thumbup:

from what i understand... its expanding staff, not replacing someone. no matter what i think its a good chance to get into the automotive job market.

I agree, I remember it because I was considering it. Then I realized I don't write nearly good enough. There are definitely a few good candidates here though...
