Can't say that it is instantly as sexy as maybe the 360 was. The curves are nice but for some reason it doesn't quite come together right for me. I suppose 560 hp can fix that though. And the big plus is that it's lighter than before at 3042 lbs. Good to see at least somebody is doing things right.

I would really like to see one of these in person or on the road first before I judge too quickly. I have a feeling that it's going to maintain an incredible road presence... and you're right you can't argue with more power and less weight!

If anything its a nice natural progression. I instantly thought the sloping tail of the cabin and the rear quarter treatment at the glass looks straight out of the Pagani design book. IMO, lower the roofline, get rid of the fangs in the headlights and tooth things in the front and it'd be pretty sexy, at least in design form. Cars always look different from design-concept-print photo-real life, so we'll see

definately some Enzo influence in the rear, similar but moreso than the F430.
I think I see what you mean though G, something about how the lines on the side converge that just doesnt exactly look 'right' it looks good, just a little off somehow.

What ruins it for me is the headlights. The LED headlight decoration trend that Audi started really looks like ass IMO.

love the haunches and low beltline, but i wish they'd stay away from the far-east trend of the monster headlights pulled to points in every direction.

I like it overall but could do without the christmas rope lighting look of the LEDs. ( I feel the same about the Audi's)

I think you're going to see more and more of that as a styling trend as it does have a safety factor associated with it. With a low, small car (ie Lotus) - NOBODY sees you. Evan and the owner of the orange Lotus on here won't have the same problem as I do since their cars are brighter, but trust me, compared to the average vehicle on the road, this type of car profile is roadkill.

Yeah, a buddy of mine sold his Miata 5-6 yrs ago after constantly getting cut off and run off the road. At least a lot more than usual for the NOVA area...

I'm just not sure how LEDs will work better than DRLs when the entire car is small enough to disappear in the average blind spot. Which, with today's driver, is pretty much any place that isn't 10ft directly in front or the screen of the crackberry.

Is it just me or are the LEDs on the AUDIs incredibly freakin bright, dunno how you couldn't see the damn things. I always pass a A5 every morning and it looks like they have on their High Beams

it's not just you, they're bright. i personally like them, a lot. i'm not sure where they started, but i'm guessing they stemmed from the 'city' lights from the older VWs (i remember the mkII's having an option for them) as well as the BMW 5-series halo's. i guess it started on the audi's with the R8, but now i'm seeing them on the newer A4s and A3s.

Pics of the 458 on the road. Those little gaps near the lights make the car look kind of weird to me. But overall it pleases the loins.
