1993 Nissan NX 2000 for sale $1800 obo

Selling for additional funds for garage so I can finish it and IÔÇÖm also ready for something different. This is absolutely one of the best FWD cars IÔÇÖve ever driven, so I'm a little sad that my ADD is kicking in so quickly. Lightweight, great handling, smooth powerband, reliable, and fun to drive; what more could I ask for? I drove it at VIR and it was an absolute blast; would be a phenomenal track car or great for learning the basics while being a reliable daily driver. I can deliver the car + all extras listed below with the car.

210,005 miles on chassis (190,948 when I bought it)
Engine was replaced in late ÔÇÖ06 at approx. 180,000 miles with a 60,000 mile JDM engine
VA state inspection expires March 2010

Modifications:
Front and rear strut tower braces
SS Autochrome header
2.5ÔÇØ Test pipe (cat replacement)
KYB AGX shocks
Hypercoil springs
JGY lightweight flywheel
JWT clutch w/ B15 clutch disc
1.6L clutch cable- slightly shorter than stock = more room for adjustment
JWT Popcharger (air intake)
Carbotech AX6 front brake pads
B14 SE-R rims
Pioneer head unit

Recent Maintenance:
205,202 Replace rear brake pads and brake fluid flush
204,447 Installed Energy Suspension shifter bushing
204,055 Oil change, replace PS fog light bulb
199,389 Replaced driver axle and trans-axle seal, spark plugs + wires, distributor cap + rotor, pcv valve, fuel filter, oil change
198,191 Replace tie rod end boots, 4-wheel alignment
198,108 Replaced clutch + clutch disc, clutch cable, throwout bearing, passenger trans-axle seal, fresh Redline MT-90 fluid
195,458 Upgrade front brake pads to Carbotech AX6, compression test: 156/160/160/157

Extras:
Carbotech XP8 front brake pads (track only)
Rear tail-lamp assembly (small crack)
Brand new 2.0L clutch cable

Bad/Other:
T-tops do not leak
No rust in any of the normal areas for B13 chassis (rockers, frame, A-pillars, doorjambs)
Body has numerous dents and dings and places where the paint is worn out. Would look 10x better with some light bondo to smooth it and a fresh coat of paint.
No other known mechanical problems
No 5th gear pop-out
Weighs approx 2570 with a half tank of gas
Has both T-top covers, original ownerÔÇÖs manual, and JDM center console pocket door

Pics: Lots more are available, just ask... (see also Project Egg Beater)

i feel like you could've been riding in the back of a pick-up and it would've been a good vehicle experience after what happened on your bday Tongue

i'm throwing this idea out there for my friend. but would consider a trade on a 88 fc rx-7? turbo of course. my friend is in some financial trouble and needs to get rid of his 18k bank loan and rx-7 and get a cheap reliable car that he could also beat on. the rx-7 isn't currently running, but he has everything it needs to run. new jdm motor, however the wiring isn't done yet. you can pm me or call me at seven oh three - four oh one - one too too five

I'm not afraid of rotaries by any means, but I'm not really in a position for trades right now either. I'd love to make a V8 RX7, but right now I already have the Z for me to dump money into...

Price dropped because I need to get this sold to raise some more $$ to finish the garage.

Cylinder 2 appears to have developed a miss on my birthday last week and I don't really care to try to fix it since I've already got the NX replacement. Car still runs and drives just fine, just feels lumpy when you're stopped at a light and is down on power. I must say I'm glad none of you guys bought it and then this happened right afterward...

Price dropped to $1400 negotiable and still comes with the spare motor for somebody to rebuild. If you've ever wanted to drive a car until it literally explodes, this would be a great opportunity! :-)

EDIT: Mis-spoke earlier and said I'd lost compression. Out of curiosity today, did a compression test (engine warm, didn't pull fuel pump fuse) and got 144/160/145/148. Cylinder 2 is still the outlier, but appears to have compression. My guess is that the injector is shot, but I still don't care and leaving price at $1400...

Kaan Wrote:$26!

All going into the same LeMons car pot, so how about you just say 25 dollars and we'll save the rest for putting a motor inside. :-p

Kaan, how do you feel about building a cage? lol
