Maeng has the right idea. Little JB weld and some good luck and it'll run just great. Stick some bondo on the hole in the block and call it a day.

gay, gay, gay, for RJ
best part is.... before the motor was yanked from the car.... it would run on the three remaining cylinders.... it just wouldnt hold an idol.
after the new motor is in.... we'll do a leak down and comression and i'll break in the Spec B clutch.... But blame RJ if the car ends up getting boosted.
That, fucking, sucks, but hey, look on the bright side, you only blew up 4 cylinders

good god man, that thing is toast! Tell me, what kind of intake did you have on there? Just wondering if a factory setup would allow something like that, or if you had a cone, or cold air scooping off the ground, or what!?
yes i have a cold water intake.... its a ricer thing....
Think it might been said but yeah a bypass valve is a must with a AEM cold air intake.

1900 for new motor!? why didn't you get a b16 or b18b?

well with the bypass i think it's been documented that you lose a few ponies due to the lack of flow with the valve and what not. i dont use one on my CAI, i just drive really carefully in the rain. thankfully the fact that im not lowered is a bonus too. if worse comes to worse and i seriously need to drive through a huge puddle, ill just pull out my pocket knife flathead, and disconnect the intake from the intake mani for the 20 feet i may have to ford through a river

with my iceman, i can disconnect the lower portion which i've been meaning to do for awhile. i'll just attach the air filter to the top part so it looks like a generic intake with the filter in the engine bay. i also need to clean it cuz its filthy right now.

cai isn't worth potentially hydrolocking... short ram provides better throttle response and nearly the same power (some actually give more).

1900 wont get you an installed B series... at least not a Vtec B series. 1900 will get you a B16A1 and the mounts.... but then you have to include install labor. they quoted me 3k for the B16A1 motor installed. i'll be saving 1,100 and getting a GOOD D16A6.
CHAD- I dont mind getting rolled. its something that happens. i'm not slow on track and my goals for the weekends are to learn.... and pass all the other honda/acuras out there. If it were wheel to wheel racing i'd have to punt half the cars out there leaving only MM on track 8) and if you lapped me you would get the same
aem bypass valve was recalled like 2 years ago, it doesnt work!
