I will be there one of my part-time teamates. I may also race ITA with a new hot rod ITA car. Lookout AJ!
I'll be there taking pictures... If I am on someone's crew can I get into the paddock? Or will they turn me away for being on a motorcycle.

You need a paddock parking pass to get in the paddock.
Is that a summit point thing or an SCCA thing? I'd like to make a phone call/send an email and ask why the hell they do this.

Its an SCCA thing. Parking is a nightmare that is why they do it and I appreciate them doing it.
And it takes SCCA 3 days to do what NASA does in 2 (double race weekend) with twice as many cars and HPDE's.
What a cluster.
Ole, do you have an email address for the DC region RE?
www.wdcr-scca.org I'm sure its up there. I know and like these people so don't use my name.
Each organization has its advantges. Some like one over the other, I prefer both.
My beef doesnt have anything to do with anyone in particular - I dont need to use any names.
Short story: I was on the shenandoah track this weekend for a bike track event and rolled over towards the main track in my power ranger suit and space boots, on my motorbike, to go to OG Racing - the nice older gentleman sitting on the other side of the bridge informed me that I could not go in the paddock and really didnt seem to care where I wanted to go and why.
I was told later by someone else that I can park in the gravel/mud, with my motorbike, and walk into the paddock. With my leathers/boots on and about 85 degrees I really didnt have any interest in walking across the paddock to get supplies at OG and lunch at Chez Summit.
SCCA weekends are the only time I have to deal with this crap. NASA, EMRA, DE events, etc - no one cares, c'mon in. "Secret Car Club of America" indeed - we dont want you here.
Ill find you a bike if your neice knocks on my door and introduces herself.
I will not be racing in ITA. I am doing a few test laps in an ITA car though. I'll bet a BF that I beat the current track record. Where's that AJ?
