We're getting married!

Alison and I are getting married on June 28th :-). I wanted to shoot a quick note to all the MM folks about the wedding. Out of respect for her father who is picking up a lot of the cost of this wedding, we've kept our guest list pretty small. Right now it's under 100 people, and most of that 100 is family. (For those of you that haven't had the "joy" of planning a wedding, 100 is a pretty darn small guest list.)

I'd really like to open the doors to the MM family because some of my best recent memories are with you guys. Unfortunately,out of respect for her father, I'm not going to be able to do so .

So rather than let the wedding slide by unannounced and then have everyone wonder why the heck I didn't include MM, I thought I'd just give a quick explanation. It is in no way intended to be an insult to you guys and gals so please do not construe it as such. If I'd made my millions already it'd be hosted at Miller Motorsports Park with a bunch of GT3's on track instead of a traditional reception, and MM would be the guests of honor flown in on my private jetS.

You are all my brothers and sisters in speed and it is very difficult for me to not have you as part of our special day. I hope there are no hard feelings and you all understand.

Congratulations Pete. My sister is getting married and they are having an insanely difficult time getting it under 100, then my sister's fiance's mother wanted some more family and their even having difficulty under 150. So I understand the pain.

I will request one thing tho..... MM throwups in one wedding pic...

That was long before I started frequenting the site..doesn't count!

I usually leave my foot in my mouth since whenever I take it out, it goes right back in...... :roll:

haha...It sucks, you can't pick out people / family to invite, you have to pick out "tiers". If you want to invite one cousin, you have to invite them all and so on... :roll:

i couldn't imagine trying to narrow down the guest list for my wedding to 100, think ours is gonna be in the 250 range, and i probably know approx 10 of those people. But, good luck Pete, hope everything goes smoothly. Powder blue tuxedos????
