WORKERS NEEDED FOR VIR March 28-30

NASA-MA needs a couple more people for grid and can take upto 6 flagger trainees, any one interested in working please post up so we can get your name to laura ASAP. NASA will pay for rooms, you get lunch saturday and sunday. The one catch on the rooms this weekend is that they are located in south boston or Roxboro, NC due to the NASCAR race in Martinsville, the hotels will be 25 min from track. However you do have the option of camping at the track.

We need to let Laura know by MARCH 7th

Hope you had fun this past weekend!

We need a couple more grid staff and can take up to 6 flag trainees. The grid positions will fill up quickly most likely but we tend to always have a few trainee spaces available. Those spaces are not crucial for the event since they are in training but we would need to know interested people by 3 weeks prior to the event.

We offer worker credits plus lunch on both days (and of course the party on Saturday night).

The weird thing about this event is the hotel situation. We provide a hotel room for groups that provide at least 3 workers to an event. If we have more than 4 workers, we get another room. The problem is that NASCAR is in Martinsville for this event which means all the local hotels are sold out. We do have rooms in South Boston and Roxboro, NC, but the rooms are all about 25-30 minutes away. A lot of people choose to camp for that reason. So, we would have rooms available but it would just be a far drive. Please make sure people understand that and they would need to let me know if they want to camp of share a room. Thanks!
