Please read the information about SCCA weekend memberships in the event listing. I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have about weekend memberships.

I'm in for Sunday, SM class

Ray, do you have to join both the nat'l and regional SCCA to participate, or just national? Also, we at MM have to pay the full 35 dollars now don't we?

Yes, you have to join both. I would suggest a First Gear Membership if you qualify. A deal at $45.

You can get all the membership info here http://www.scca.com/joinnow.aspx

Your best deal is to pre-register $25 + a weekend membership ($10). Then take the $15 credit you get from SCCA and get a First Gear Membership. After that you don't have to pay the extra $10 for the rest of the season.

I'm a member of WDCR SCCA and I guess national too, do I have to join BRR too to not have to buy a weekend pass? I'm a member of that head start membership for people under 24, is that matters.

Sounds like you're all set. I just need to see your membership card when you register.

No VMSC doesn't count. Many VMSC members are also ODR-SCCA members.

Here is what it says in the Event Listing on MyAutoEvents;

Event Description/
Schedule

Pre-registration is for current SCCA members only.

Weekend memberships may be available if there are less than 45 entrants pre-registered. Please contact rschumin@comcast.net or 540-290-2797 to check on the availability of space after online registration closes.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Online registration will close the Thursday before the event. If I were a betting man, I'd say that there is a better than 50/50 chance that there will be open spots. Of course one way to lock in a spot is to get a First Gear membership now.

Don't forget to preregister for Sunday even if you aren't a SCCA member that only applies to the Saturday test and tune.
Also I just realized that just like last years first autocross of the season it appears as though we will be losing an hour of sleep due to daylight savings or whatever, so 8am will really be 7am, wonderful.
