Fords are now as reliable as Hondas.
Every once in a while i see something about a car being a turbo, or so and so said it had a turbo - when it clearly has a non-enclosed carb on it. Neat..i guess the turbo must be pressurizing the entire under-hood area.

heh...i'm pretty sure for torque off the line there is no replacement for displacement...so I guess it depends on what the context there was

that's an equally nebulous statement. for the record i will conceed that yes, when you start getting into thousands of horsepower you need to consider larger and larger displacement. that is usually in a competition environment though.

One of Lindsey's co-workers said she gets 47mpg in her CR-V a while back. We laughed and determined it also runs a 9 second 1/4, seats 8 comfortably, and the exhaust smells like flowers. Thats the most recent absurdity, i'll write down some more as I remember them.
"we don't buy citgo gas, we only get 13mpg with it instead of the usual 25."

I got told the same thing, and this was shortly after test driving a EVO 9 MR
Test Driving the MR. leaving the dealership, saleswoman says: "The clutch is a racing clutch it can be very tricky to handle, we have alotta people stall these cars out so be careful" I take off no problem, she was very nervous the entire ride, damn that car was fast.

^^^ Yeah I was about to say, plenty of people have done ITBs with turbo.
PS- There is NO replacement for displacement. Adding turbo means more power, but with more turbo+more displacement= OWNED!
