Sweet, that is the guy that told Dave "Yes, actually I do mind" when he asked for a ride.

Besides, if someone just doesnt want a passenger in the car there's nothing wrong with that. They paid for the track time, they can use it however they want. There are times where I turn away passengers because I want time to myself to work on things.

Ive had to turn away people who have asked for rides (not sure why they want a ride in a miata anyway) and almost every person gets pissy. Quite frankly I resent people who expect to get rides. Most of the time I love giving rides, but sometimes I may want to work on getting a clean fast lap, or work on heavy trailbraking (see: off twice at the same corner in the same session) and really cant take a passenger. (also the brakes hate an extra 200lb in the car too and it handles like ass)
Its not like the guy said "piss off" to him.
understandably, you have your reasons for not wanting passengers. I didn't get pissy or cop an attitude with the guy either. I understand the various reasons for not wanting a passenger in the car. However, the tone of voice and wording used was unnecessary ("piss off" was essentially what he said) and he was a cock in general (speeding through the paddock, on a seperate instance told another worker to get the fuck away from his car). I have been turned away from rides on numerous occaisions and never thought twice about the guy being a dick UNTIL that particular porsche driver.
I don't expect anybody to give me a ride on track for my own enjoyment, althought I will admit that a couple rides on track can make working at a corner all day almost worth it. I will also say that getting a ride from an instructor and actually watching them helped out a ton in getting my own techniques correct at VIR (thanks RJ). I'm sure that you guys understand this.
I also think it was a different GT3 Cup car, although I cannot confirm or deny this.
