I normally go to Katies Cars and Coffee in Great Falls, Saturday mornings as it is always a wild place to see anything from Wayne Carrini checking out a BMW 507 to stance nation boys rolling through, there is a car for everyone (at least before covid) but after more than 5 years going religiously I saw the coolest car I think I have ever seen and it wasn't even at Katies. I was running errands today in the 4Runner and a Guntherwerks 993 pulled up beside me at a stoplight. To most people this would look like a modified 993, but the who's who of the zoo know how special it really is. I was awestruck and unfortunately did not get a video of it taking off, but I did get this picture

Supposedly, I think the main row is pretty much off limits, but the other lots should be open. I hope it comes back fully cuz that place was great (and close).

YOOOOOO!!!! I literally just saw that thing come out of a neighborhood. Seems like if that's where he lives it's on the West side of North Glebe Road in Arlington.
I was talking to the parents of my friend (don't ask why) in the car, and I was talking about dogs and I saw it come out of the street and I just stopped talking lmao. Yeah that thing sounded so sick as well.

Yes and no. They are selling coffee and food like they would normally do, but you are required to pull into the parking spaces and cannot have hoods up or anything car showy as they can only have like 125 or 250 people there to be in the VA legal covid restrictions. There was a Porsche GT car meetup at the old circuit city in Tysons off of 7 on Saturday though. My friend who went saw the Signal Yellow Carrera GT that occasionally makes appearances at Katies. With Katies not running like it has in the past I think another local place will replace it in terms of the big crowds. There is now one in Potomac, MD that is gathering traction

Any Alpina is a cool car, there is an e60 B7 Alpina in the McLean area I see fairly often. Interesting fact about the traditional Alipina rims, they do not have a visible Schrader valve for putting air into the tires, the valve is located under the center disk along with the lug nuts to give the rim a very clean look
Gonna expand this thread to cars that I've also found online recently. IDK how I got to this site (Google overlords knew that I was on this thread) but I fell in love with the looks of this B5 Wagon

I caught this in the distance in front of me yesterday, and then again today in Advance Auto parking lot (where I'm sure they have a lot of parts for it in our hick town). I'm not a Ferrari nerd, but it's either a 308 or 288 GTO or something, at least the side and rear are pretty much like this picture. IT IS GOLD.

My other car is a '97 4Runner with factory 5-speed and lockers. If you know what it is, it is very cool, if not it is just another 3rd gen 4Runner. Did the fall oil change today, the 4Runner takes daily duty over from the BMW when it gets lower than 60 degrees or there is rain in the forecast. Picture is from last winter, bc I do not take many photos of my cars

No, I started it because of the Gunterwerks 993. But I've only mentioned my BMW, not my 4runner yet. I have plenty of others that may make their way to the thread, but I primarily want to talk about the BMW and occasionally mention the 4Runner
