Santa's Toy Run @ Road Atlanta 12/7/19 - 12/8/19

I'm heading down to run DE3 at Road Atlanta with NASA SE. I've always wanted to drive here and everything lines up to where I can go. Not looking forward to 8 hours of driving and sleeping in my truck, but oh well.

Anyone else going? The NASA Hotel rate is $83 a night, so if someone else goes, I'm down to split the room.

what he said.  much like VIR you can't understand the significant elevation changes until you see it and drive it.  the walls come up fast. its a legendary track though and good reason for being on everyone's calendar.

i've made the drive between ATL and VA many, many times on I-85/I-77. watch it between Greenville and the track, the road condition sucks and once you get close to the track you get the usual ATL drivers going stupid fast.

i'll do my best to come out and hang out/watch you drive/take pics for a day.  that time of year is right as school is closing up so not sure if i'll be able to get out of dad duty.

I certainly won't push it too much. It'll be my 4th event in DE3 so that alone will be enough to keep me timid.
