Hey everyone,

My name's Robert Lazar, and I'm a new MM member. I'm a freshman and INTA major from Haymarket, VA. I don't actually have a car at the moment, but I've been saving to buy one for the past two-ish years. Not sure what I'll eventually buy, but it'll probably be something from the 80s or 90s; I've daydreamt about everything from an XJ Cherokee to a C4 Corvette.

Although I don't own a car myself, here's my dad's 2016 Chevy Colorado that I've driven since I got my permit. Until I got here I probably used it more than he did:

Yeesh. I looked at this on my phone and thought that was soap too. 

I know the feels. I vow to never own another black car living in a 4 season state.

Welcome Robert! You can't really go wrong with either of your choices at each end of the spectrum. I loved my XJ as have many others here with theirs, and I'll never forget one of the first ride-alongs I ever got at VIR, in an instructor's C4 ZR1. Just comfortably hauling ass, letting the tail out lap after lap around Oak Tree on to deep into the triple digits down the back straight. Get after it - looking forward to seeing what you pick up!
