SOLD!
2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD Crew Cab Long Bed Diesel Classic with White Exterior/Black Interior
-177k miles, going up slowly as I still use it
-SLT Package includes front buckets with center console, sunroof, black leather, front heated seats
I have owned the truck since 100k miles and it has been rock solid. Only has had two issues while on a trip over the past 7 years, one was a broken front axle that I could drive to my destination on no problem and an alternator 6 years ago. $80 at a local Advance and I was back on my way. Never been stranded or towed with this truck. We are buying an RV and sold the gooseneck. Debating keeping the truck or not; but keeping a truck on insurance for 2-3x a year of use seems silly.
Modifications:
- Spray in Bed-Liner
- B&W "Hideaway" Gooseneck hitch (flat floor when gooseneck ball is flipped)
- Firestone Air Bags
- EFI Live Tune with DSP5 switch (stock/40hp light tow/60hp eco/80hp high tow tune/120 "race") Includes Exhaust Brake
- MBRP 4" aluminized turbo-back exhaust
- Denali Projector Headlights
- HIDs in Fog Lights
- Retrax "Pro" Tonneau Cover ($1,900 tonneau cover! Aluminum slats can hold 500lbs on top and lock in any position)
- Bilstein 5100s
Significant Maintenance in last 1.5 years
- Front and Rear Brake Pads/Calipers/Soft Lines (right rear brake caliper stuck so replaced multiple)
- All Hard Brake Lines with OEM Teflon "updated" lines (Precaution)
- Front Left/Right Axles (precaution after left one failed)
- Timken Wheel Bearings Front Left/Right (precaution after left one went out)
- AC Delco Power Steering Pump with replaced SS Lines as precaution
- 2x Idler Pulleys/Tensioner and Tensioner Pulley/Main Serpentine belt (idler pulley squeaking so replaced all as precaution)
Cons: There are two. I am offering this up to friends for this price before I fix these two issues, price will go up $2k if the car isn't sold in next month while I am continuing to use it.
1. Paint is peeling on hood and marks on front bumper, I have a full brand new replacement chrome front bumper. Perfect for someone who wants to paint entire front end to look "more modern"
2. #4 Glow plug stuck in head, needs an extractor, too lazy to take it to a shop with an extractor. These trucks really don't need glow plugs, I have started it in -32 degree weather with one glow plug out and it fired up after about 10 seconds.
The interior and exterior aside from above mentioned are in good, but not excellent shape. I threw this ad together very quickly if anyone I know what a good solid truck for $18k in the "unicorn" LBZ truck (No Emissions + 6 speed allison + LBZ motor). Over the next month ill be doing the paint and glow plug once I finish up with the race car and then it'lll be for sale publicly.
PM me for any photos.
