Marshall Hudson

Hey guys I'm Marshall, I'm an up coming freshmen majoring in Business Management. I drive a 1983 Pontiac Firebird, it has a 2.8L V6 which hopefully with some extra money this summer I can afford to swap in a 305 or 350. I currently in Tidewater Trans Am Club so I was just looking for some new people that love cars and can go on cruises or race since I'll be moving out of the tidewater area. I have some experience go karting, but not much. I look forward to meeting you all! Here's some pics of the old Bird.

Hey Marshall, welcome to JMU and MM! It's a good bunch around here. We have a few F-Body owners (are the older 'maros/birds considered F-bodies?)... Abbie has an '81, Steve and Chris both have 02ish.

Even if you can't finangle a way to get your car up for freshman year, you oughta have a lot of fun with MM regardless

(Also, your photos aren't working - make sure you paste the .jpg image URL instead of the Facebook URL)

The 67, 68, and 69 firebirds we're "Coke bottle styling", then 70-81 they had the "swoopy" body type, 82-2002 we're all F-bodies (and that goes for firebirds and camaros alike), but it doesn't really matter I think all the gen's are beautiful looking cars and the Trans Am and SS Camaros back up their looks, my little S/E does not. But here are the pictures, I'm getting her repainted to the factory silver and gray at the beginning of next month.

My wife had a blue one with the 305 as her first car in HS. Was autotragic though, so shenanigans were minimum.

I got mine non-running from my aunt after I killed my Focus. It was free, except for the parts to get her running again. But unfortunately as you put it mine is also autotragic. But I'm not complaining about a free car and the suspension is the same they put in the trans am's so even if it is automatic it's still a fun car.

Nice shot on the parkway! I just graduated JMU last year, I'm in Yorktown currently. Where abouts are you? I got my degree in International Business with a marketing concentration and Italian minor. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions about COB or JMU in general. MM was AWESOME to get involved in while at JMU. Have you been out to Langley Speedway before? I think I'll be there this Wednesday.

welcome! that will be a sweet ride with your plans. my dad had an '87 S-10 blazer with that 2.8 in it, so your car brought back some memories for me.

I'm in Virginia Beach but TTAC has an annual cruise up Colonial Parkway, it's such a great road for it. And unfortunately I haven't been out to Langley yet, but I was looking to go sometime soon. Also as for the 2.8s I've heard of a lot of people with they in the older chevy trucks, it just seems like a kinda small engine for a truck to me.

welcome to jmu and mm! we were down in williamsburg the other week and stumbled upon that colonial parkway, it was an pretty cool driving oasis in the middle of crazy, although the surface is on par with verona.
