4rlz? that would be why my statement said "I don't think they make great 600cc or 1000cc I4s". Think, as in opinion. My experience with the Honders work wise and riding wise always makes me appreciate my GSX-R more.

And I asked upon what do you base your opinion. If it's because of some things like a stock steering damper and ease of conversion to GP shift I'd have to say that's kind of a thin argument. If it's race results you'd have a decent case for the GSX-R1000 but a very poor one for the 600. Even then the 1000RR has won more worldwide than either of the other 1000's.

Saying you have a preference for any bike doesn't require any explanation. If you are going to say someone's bikes are not good then naturally most people are going to be curious as to why.

Yea, I seem to consider that a bigger point than most people. To me, not going into a tank slapper is kind of important.

Depends on your preference I guess. My RC could use one... but its not absolutely necessary and I'm not going to crash because its not there.

It's certainly a useful piece of equipment but if that's the sole reason that the 600RR is not 'great' I'd have to say that's much of an argument.

Who's arguing? I just wonder what he was using to form his opinion. Especially since he cheapshots Hondas from time to time.

Besides you're the first one to question someone if they say Miatas aren't good cars or the Evo is better than the STi.

You may at the track when you come tearing out of a turn or when you're goofing off on the street and you don't put your wheelie down properly.

Isnt that the same as having an opinion?

No one ever said anything about being 'wrong', although it was worth clarifying about the recent AMA/WSBK results.

AMA SBK - 1 Honda win, rest by Suzuki, I believe.
WSBK - 24 races, 4 Honda wins (12 by Ducati, 5 by Suzuki, 2 by Yamaha, 1 by Kawi)

So as I said, Honda didn't exactly set AMA SBK or WSBK world on fire.

In 2006, yes..... but you're using a very narrow scope only to better support your opnion.

Well if you want to use Superbike racing they've done well, winning JSB and BSB, and finishing 2nd in WSBK. I wanna say a Suzuki team won World Endurance this year though. However, as it stands Honda has actually done better overall than anyone in major superbike racing worldwide.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this year in BSBK the only series the CBR1000RR has ever won?

The 1000RR won all three years of JSB it's contested.

Of course not, but its hypocritical to demand "evidence" for someone elses opinion but not provide any for your own. anyway, it matters not, but the tone of the high and mighty untouchable honda was clear.
