Im not sure what its like in the states, but in europe people who race cars and bikers dont get along at all... bikers argue that cars lack thrill and risk and entail a lot more skill and adaptation to surroundings... most racers have this negatuve view that buying a bike is like putting a down payment on a coffin... I cant really drive bikes other than atv's and mt5's, but i have to agree that theres a lot more thrill involved... bikers also argue that theres more talent required (reflexes, study of physical movments blah blha blah... any thoughts ????
i for one have never ridden or driven a motorcycle before but they intrest me. I'm a fan of both. It doesn't seem to me like there is a big conflict between bikers and car drivers.
true but some people dont see it that way.. i mean when you think about it, its two completly different dimensions... but still, i cant think of a car that would be worth racing against a superbike... it would be kinda useless
i've seen nitrous bikes at the drag stip. they're freaky, did about 7.5 sec in the 1/4 mile at about 183 mph. Some may say death on wheels, to which i would agree. If i were to ride one i'd probably change my mind about bikes for the better or worse, but they interest me.

gt3???? I dont know enough to affirm that, but i was under the impression that superbike acceleration was unbeatable by any four wheeler
For the price to performance ratio bikes are supreme, no doubt about it. Some race cars can be faster than bikes around road courses (mostly open wheeled cars) but that's because they have 4 contact patches instead of two.
As for the skill involved, racing a bike requires one to pay attention to the additional axes of roll and sometimes pitch as opposed to just yaw in a car. In layman's terms, you can't lay down or high side a car.
so ur saying on a straight most cars wouldnt stand a chance... but evry course has straights to make up lost time... what about curve speed, the pro bikes take turns at crazy ass speeds... wouldnt bikes have an advantage... passing is not a lot easier ????
how many Gs can bikes pull? edit: laterally..
i guess the only big difference would be that if a bike hits a pebble during a turn he's fuxored whereas if a car where to do the same probably wouldn't effect it.
i wanted to get a bike instead of the wrangler, but i figure too much of a hassle to have to learn to ride it and deal with the fucking snow in hburg...

keep the wranger and get a cheap bike. I'm planning on signing up for lessons in the near future and learning how to ride one. The bike fever is spreading in MM :twisted: .
