"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Looks like there's a direct flight into Monterey from BWI for only $344 on Delta. I'd be down for that but there's a flight out of IAD on United to Oakland for $345 and I could use the ff miles. I'd love to get another free trip to Japan (or Europe or Brazil) next year...

Is it bad that I wouldn't mind flying with them during testing to save money?
When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.

It looks like all the "premier camping" sites are sold out - probably from prior year ticketholders. Thats fine... this still leaves the "reserved camping" open for sale tomorrow. The only "reserved camping" is the grandprix camp site, thats where the speed forums crew was last year. I like that spot, so its not like we have much choice unless we want to be off in the same camping area as last year.
Is everyone ok with that? Its $275, split 6 (?) ways ($46 per, if we have 6).
I will be buying the ticket as soon as they're on sale tomorrow during the day.

"If you can't dazzle em with brilliance, baffle em with bullshit"
Also - if for whatever reason I cant get the grand prix camp site, then the next best site looks to be the 'general camping' out side of Turn 11.

Werd I'm down with the reserved spot or T11, whichever we can get.

Same.
My two feet.
G.Irish Wrote:Werd I'm down with the reserved spot or T11, whichever we can get. +1, do we know how many vehicle passes that comes with? We'll need 1 possibly 2 I'd imagine.
Looks like 1 vehicle pass per campsite or 2 motorcycle passes. Are we going to need more than one vehicle pass?

If we plan on doing the same as we did last year then I'd say we need two. That way we can use one for the .net vehicle as a payment for y'all getting "taxi" service back from Cannery Row at least one or two of the nights.
We wont be able to get 2 support vehicle passes, but I am sure we could get one in, then walk toward the track entrance with the pass for #2.
