I think feersty is tryin to point out that hes there, and alot closer to it than if he were in Chicago, and you usually do not get the chance to see stuff like that very often. I think its cool considering that australia is mostly flat and desert, then out of no where there is a huge rock formation jutting out.

Not to mention some of us enjoy nature and it's marvels so there's that draw as well. If I was in Australia I'd sure as hell try my best to make it out to it.

people travel all over the country to visit this:
![]() located in GA - the Georgia Rock (not sure if that's the actual name). When i traveled across the country and back i didn't want to visit Mt. Rushmore and that was mainly due to its location (nothing really around it and about a full day out of the way from the other locations i wanted to visit). If i had more time i definitely would've drove to see it. I however would love to go to Austrailia, but i doubt i would go see a rock that far away unless i was near the area or for some reason it was really cool. Take more pictures Jack! I know you want to and will ![]()

The story is, I'm here for work for 4-6 weeks. Maybe longer... I'm working on a bunch of projects but I'm not doing anything crazy. I've got an apartment in North Sydney and I'm just trying to arrange time to get out and travel.
Here's a crappy pic of the view from my apartment (no zoom, I fall asleep staring at the bridge... yes, you can hate me for it): ![]() I was staying in the Marriott but it was too stuffy. I needed to get into the "real" city, not the business district. Now I've got this tight little place sitting right on the water. I'm going to try to get out of Sydney as much as I can. It's hard because I'm working 5 days a week, but for now, I'm still happy exploring this area. Also, it's been raining a lot which puts a serious damper on any long distance on-foot trips. Here are a couple of pics. I'll post more when I take them ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm going to try to get to Melbourne and hopefully to New Zealand before I leave.. Cars wise: -I sat in a 500hp R33 Skyline GTR V-Spec. -Every second car has a large FMIC hanging out the front bumper. -They love their Holdens and Fords with large American V8s -I see skylines everywhere. -They drive on the left?!?! WTF?!?!? PS.. I'm totally going to that fucking rock! WOOOOOO!!!
