For the record, I hate Maeng.
Although owning and driving this thing has been a privilege, I want to sell my (prizewinning - eat it Mike) S2000 and get something more practical. And it's killing me to do it before summer, but I volunteer Mike to let me drive his whenever I want to.
Details:
-MY 2003 (glass rear window, no clutch rattle)
-Sebring silver on black
-All VINs match
-~53k miles (17k are on my watch)
-Mobil 1 every 4k since I've owned it (Honda recommends every 7500 miles)
-Stock, and everything works
-Recent compression test results: 220-220-220-220
-More VTEC than you can shake a stick at
-No major accidents, but 3 hours after I registered it, a lady backed into (along) it and messed up the rear bumper. It was professionally resprayed. A few months after that, I traded a little paint with a Passat and the front bumper had to be resprayed. Both are the original parts, with the original VINs. No dents were even made, the paint was just scratched.
-As long as it's transferable, it has a Hondacare warranty covering the drivetrain up to 100k. Be real though, it's a Honda. You're not gonna need it.
Mods:
-Dark (5%?) tint - was on it when I got it.
-Alpine stereo (all around)- MP3/WMA head unit, 6.5" Type R components driven by a 2 channel amp
-OEM front lip
-OEM rear spoiler
-OEM Titanium shift knob
-18" Volk LE37T's - gunmetal with a polished lip. About 3k on Yoko ES100's. Car was aligned when I had them mounted.
-Rick's floor mats - covering up those nasty framerails
As for wear a tear, the car is in excellent shape. Minor wear on driver's side bolster. Tiny little crack in the instrument cluster that was there when I got it.
Couple pics for now:
Asking $23k
Wow, that was fast. Usually it takes a couple of exposures to settle in....
Thats one of the fastest onsets of "t3h fever" i've ever seen hock:

WOW - that was a shock... I didn't really think you were serious when you mentioned this earlier.
So is some money from this going for a bike?
When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.

Yeah, I'm weak you fuckers.
Just went for a top down ride earlier and seller's remorse is going to be strong with this one... :?
Nick, nah. You can buy them if you want, but I don't want the Alpinas.

That was quick. The 4-door sedan pulls another one to the darkside. Nice work Maeng.
Good luck with the sale.

The gears are incredibly short. First is pretty much non-existant, guess thats what you get for taking ratios based on the 8k 2.0 JDM motor and putting it on the 7k 2.5 USDM. I have yet to ride in a S2000... but are on my list of cars I hope to experience. I don't know what I'd do without my backseat though... :?

Do it on the hood? Touche. I stand corrected.
Welcome to the dark side!
You can get around the quick shifts by getting a motor for it that revs 8-9k..... ^_^
Or swap out the gearset for a 6 speed dogbox! 70mph in 2nd gear = win
