All I can say is...how about my run up the VA side of the mountain. And it only cost me a new set of brake pads.

How were the roads over 33? Has the rain washed off most of the winter crap (cinders, salt, etc) from most of the road? Safe for a motorcycle yet?

Thanks,
Peter

It was a non-spirited drive, nobody was pushing it to the limits. In fact, I was stuck behind this slow sti the whole time. . However coming back up the hill one of my vacuum lines popped off (yes I forgot to put a clamp on it) so I was boostless. Was even in the title that it was non-spirited.

Trust me I would have said it if we were actually pushing it, but we were not. As you see, Aaron's car is a bazillion pound car, so braking on a hill just destroyed em.. Im all for the track.

The roads weren't too bad. There were still some spots where gravel remained toward the edges and near the center line but that was only a few rare spots, I didn't notice any salt remnants either. We saw quite a few bikes on the way up and down and talked to one that stopped where we pulled off to turn around. It was a nice relaxing drive... minus the West Virginian that decided it would be fun to smoke wall us with his turbo diesel (jerk) on the ride home. I wasn't a big fan of that considering my windows were wide open.

Yeah Mikey... I lead the drive, and there was no passing and no ticket worthy speeding.

Adam was in the rear and I was up front and we both had radios so we were able to keep it very much under control... actually, it may have been the safest drive ever. Yeah... it was definately the safest drive ever.

Shea and I drag raced pasted the police station... I was at 22 mph when he barely edged me out after like 10 seconds hahahaha
