Now that spring is upon us, its time to announce the bi annual CCVT car show. It is going to be held Saturday, April 22nd and starts at 10 AM. It will be held in the prices fork commuter lot on campus.
Its free to watch. I don't think we have the prices setup yet if you plan to enter your car but last year it was only a few dollars. We have trophies for 7 different categories and the judging is done by everyone (you get a card to submit your votes for the various categories). We will also have a few extra prizes for entrants that will be randomly given away (some stuff from meguiars, free blackstone oil anylsis, a coupon for some free dyno time). There should be alot of other cool things there as well that we will be able to announce as the event draws nearer.
There will also be a cookout directly after the show. If you attend the cookout, you will want to arrange to spend the night somewhere. The location is usually within walking distance to most of the apt complexes in Blacksburg so there are no worries about driving. Parking should not be a problem either. I can only hope we top last years cookout. It was a huge success. We have multiple alumni flying in just for this, if that says anything about how much fun it is.
If you guys have any questions about the show let me know, and I really hope to see some of you guys here this year.
