so, ah....it's going to basically be nothing like top gear?
"Thier own studio, thier own test track, even - since our boys were too busy and anyway James May doesnÔÇÖy like places that donÔÇÖt server a decent cup of tea - thier own presenters." the whole reason i watch top gear is because it's good entertainment and nothing more. if all those criteria change, its a whole different show. you can carry over the cars and cinematography but it won't be the same. all i can hope for is that it doesn't turn into another pathetic US automotive show like C&D TV.

Can anyone designate for me the difference between Top Gear and Fifth Gear? I am not sure exactly what the differences are.

Top Gear is hosted by Jeremy Clarkson and two other dudes, one is named Richard Hammond, and Fifth Gear is hosted by both Tiff Nedell (who is my favorite driver by the way) and this cute lady whose name I forgot.
Oh yeah, Spike TV has some of the corniest (sorry about the spelling) car shows on TV! They also try too hard to tend to an audience of stereotypical male jocks. Just my opinion. Lastly, does anyone know how "finalgear" works? I have been trying to download Top Gear videos from them for a long time now, but I can't figure out how. And what is Torent??
