Not sure if this is final or not... i wasnt expecting the early summit date before CMP, but i'll still have 2 months for final prep and penny pinching after the comp school is over Smile

I can say in completely certainty that it's not final. We will be changing the Summit date that is the same date as NASA Nationals, there will be at least one more Summit date added and they are pushing to get another VIR date as well.

So?? What a better way to spend your birthday than at the track. I could see if it was your moms, dads or wife's, but YOUR'S!?!? You do what YOU want on your birthday!

Looks like 6 nasa race weekends and 3-4 HPDE instructing (mazda, carguys) for me. Probably wont do the last nasa race of the year, since I'm planning on racing with s-club in '07.

Yep. Most of the club events the marque makes up about 60% of the particpaints. There's also benz club which is supposedly decent but I havent run with them. Also, dont forget Tarheel Club ( www.thscc.com ) as they have a fun time trial schedule - I'd like to get in on one next year.

mazda drivers is my favorite group to run with. tons of track time, well run, and inexepensive. all makes/models allowed, and no membership fee

Also for the MMers who were not planning to flag, work, or HPDE drive at VIR on Feb 17-19, we will have a time trial (higher speed autocross, basically) on the Patriot Course on Sat Feb 18. Details are here:

http://www.get-fast.net/nasacross/21806

Again, please do NOT cancel your fullcourse plans to autocross, this is something you should sign up for only if you weren't gonna be there otherwise. That's a big track on a busy weekend so NASA's gonna need all the help it can get

Thanks,

Jon
