2006 NASA schedule - .RJ - 11-24-2005 http://www.nasa-southeast.com/2006.pdf Not sure if this is final or not... i wasnt expecting the early summit date before CMP, but i'll still have 2 months for final prep and penny pinching after the comp school is over
- Dragon - 12-07-2005 I can say in completely certainty that it's not final. We will be changing the Summit date that is the same date as NASA Nationals, there will be at least one more Summit date added and they are pushing to get another VIR date as well. - .RJ - 12-07-2005 7 weekends? My budget a splode! - navin - 12-07-2005 Damn VIR is on my bday weekend...
- white_2kgt - 12-07-2005 navin Wrote:Damn VIR is on my bday weekend... So?? What a better way to spend your birthday than at the track. I could see if it was your moms, dads or wife's, but YOUR'S!?!? You do what YOU want on your birthday! - JohnC - 12-07-2005 I spent my last birthday on the interstate, driving to Road Atlanta.. - navin - 12-07-2005 true, you only turn 21 once though - and VIR will most likely be around after Febuary
- Chris - 12-08-2005 navin Wrote:true, you only turn 21 once though - and VIR will most likely be around after Febuary we'll help you celebrate  just have it the following weekend - Evan - 12-08-2005 hrm, I wonder which summit date is Shenandoah.... - Evan - 12-15-2005 nasa schedule has changed from what is on that pdf no shenandoah x10000http://www.nasaracing.net/sched_regis.htm - D_Eclipse9916 - 12-15-2005 navin Wrote:true, you only turn 21 once though - and VIR will most likely be around after Febuary What day is your b-day? My birthday is the 18th of february, the day that VIR is, you bet my ass ill be celebrating it by being at the track, although getting drunk that night might be a little harder, im sure we can make up for not being back at home! - Mike - 12-15-2005 his is the 15th. - Evan - 12-15-2005 Here is my personal target schedule (a few usually fall off of it) For the HPDE guys, I would highly recommend Mazda Drivers and Audi Club events. Lots of track time and good instruction. Carguys has the most track time but is more expensive, but has a great flagger program, flag 2 weekends, drive 1 weekend free. Feb Feb 17-19 VIRginia International Raceway NASA- March March 3,4, 5 Summit - Main Track carguys March 25-26 VIR-N mazdadrivers April May May 6-7 Carolina Motorsports Park NASA-MA May 27, 28, 29 - Shenandoah Circuit - carguys June june 17-18 VIR-grand mazdadrivers July July 8-9 Summit Point Raceway NASA-MA hyperfizzle July 28-30 VIRginia International Raceway north NASA-MA August vir-f August 4, 5, 6 carguys Aug. 26-27 Summit Point Raceway NASA-ma September Sept. 11-17 Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course NASA Nationals sept 16-17 shenandoah mazdadrivers October Oct. 14-15 Summit Point Raceway NASA-ma November Nov. 11-12 Summit Point Raceway NASA-ma 2007 points race nov 18-19 vir-f audi club - .RJ - 12-15-2005 Looks like 6 nasa race weekends and 3-4 HPDE instructing (mazda, carguys) for me. Probably wont do the last nasa race of the year, since I'm planning on racing with s-club in '07. - Mike - 12-15-2005 woot! i'm excited to go play with some other groupos now that my credits are all gone. do mazda and audi allow other make vehicles? - ScottyB - 12-15-2005 Mike Wrote:woot! i'm excited to go play with some other groupos now that my credits are all gone. do mazda and audi allow other make vehicles? i know audi does. - .RJ - 12-15-2005 Mike Wrote:do mazda and audi allow other make vehicles? Yep. Most of the club events the marque makes up about 60% of the particpaints. There's also benz club which is supposedly decent but I havent run with them. Also, dont forget Tarheel Club ( www.thscc.com ) as they have a fun time trial schedule - I'd like to get in on one next year. - Evan - 12-15-2005 http://audiclubna.org/chapters/potomac/ www.mazdadrivers.com mazda drivers is my favorite group to run with. tons of track time, well run, and inexepensive. all makes/models allowed, and no membership fee - getfast - 12-15-2005 Also for the MMers who were not planning to flag, work, or HPDE drive at VIR on Feb 17-19, we will have a time trial (higher speed autocross, basically) on the Patriot Course on Sat Feb 18. Details are here: http://www.get-fast.net/nasacross/21806 Again, please do NOT cancel your fullcourse plans to autocross, this is something you should sign up for only if you weren't gonna be there otherwise. That's a big track on a busy weekend so NASA's gonna need all the help it can get  Thanks, Jon - white_2kgt - 12-28-2005 Ok, here's what I've come up w/ so far, Feb 17-19 NASA @ VIR Mar 3-5 CarGuys @ Summit Apr 8-9 Tarheel Sports Car Club @ VIR May 6-7 NASA @ CMP May 27-29 Carguys @ Summit Pt June 2-5 All Ford Nationals and Watkins Glen July 8-9 NASA @ Summit Pt July 28-30 NASA @ Summit Pt Sep 11-17 NASA @ Mid Ohio Oct 14-15 NASA @ Summit Pt |
