yes, we have an old but trusty booth. We use Dupont refinishing products. (my paint is Chroma Premier factory mixed)

I have to say, this car is gonna look hot when it is finished. No it is not your average MM car, but Jeff and Sylvia have definately put a lot of time into this project. And its coming a long nicely. The hatch looks hot with the new paint and I can't imagine what its gonna look like when its finished. Hopefully, Rex and I will be able to get up there and help with this project a little more cause we had a great time....

Well kids here are some of the latest pics of the work done over the last weekend. I always manage to loose the best ones. The "final pic" was lost, so was an MM flash, and i lost the pic of the hatch completed...oh well..I'll get them this weekend.

Project for the past weekend was getting the doors and hatch painted and back on, we tore into it friday night, got the hatch done, then saturday we removed both doors and painted...

here is my paint pro Dusty getting ready to spray the jams. The paint is too pricey for me to test my skillz on this. He rocks me hard with his painting SkIlLz.

Here are my black nuts...lol...we repainted ALL the hardware on the car black, below is the wonderful contrast between the paint and all that black

The doors turned out VERY nice, much props to the Dust Man

Anyways, there are the crappy pics I came back with from this weekend of toil. Here is the last one I have of some work I did today. As we were putting one of the doors on we scratched the jam. So, I needed to cover this spot. In that exact location there was a sticker that showed tire pressure, I retrieved it from the trash can and I was able to recreate it in Word...Kinko's will be turning it into a sticker for me. I had to add my own touches...I know, I am a nerd...bad.

The pictures don't do that paint justice. It comes out on here looking red, but it's really this very choice burnt orange.

It will really be a fine looking car when it's finished.

:mrgreen: Thanks for pointing that out Rex, I should have mentioned it. Thanks for all the remarks so far. I am in debt pretty bad right now so it might slow down for a few weeks. I will post up pics of underhood progress and the interior going back together this weekend. I spoke with a fellow TD owner for some time about turbos and he said I should stick with the mitsu until it dies for the fast-spool factor. So the engine might not be coming out. I'll tell more on that later. And now, for something completely different-

Plates!? Sylvia and I are gonna get insurance and plates soon if I can get some stuff sold and pay the garage the $500 I owe them. We had some ideas... comment please!!!

hahaha Mike, when i saw the OMG WHEE plate i couldnt stop laughing

i had my chance to get a custom plate when i moved down here but i dropped the ball....oh well, custom plates are $$$ in GA! you northerners have it good in that regards.
