stun guns have the two prongs with the blue arc between them. you have to hit a person up close with the stun gun like you were stabbing them with a knife. a taser (which is the company name for the weapon) shoots two wires with prongs up to like 20 feet or something like that. it doesnt have a visible arc except on the contact part which is for when you miss someone with one of the two wires. a taser also sorta resembles a handgun. a taser is a stun gun but a stun gun is NOT a taser. i guess it'd be similar to saying a glock is a handgun but a handgun is not a glock.
