The blonde chick in the second picture definitely has that "get over here now" look on her face.

Not really. That would be like us cutting everyone out of MM pictures who is not an 8 or above in looks and who isn't ripped. Not saying I want women to let themselves go and be overweight but I am saying there's no need to be a hater.

But it isn't a fastback or a convertible. So it must be a hardtop. It has 289 written on the side of it which indicates that it has 8 cylinders but I can't tell if it is the 2v or the 4v one from pictures. I don't think it says hi po above the 289 but I can't really tell. It could be a 6 cylinder with the badging. It's impossible to tell from the pictures whether or not it is a GT but some of the indicators are there...and some are not.
I believe it is a 65 because it looks like one to me...and the license plate says Red 5.
But maybe he is a Star Wars fan?

It is a 1966 Ford Mustang GT Clone. I purchased it this summer after an intense search, found her up in Rochester, NY. This past semester (fall) was quite frustrating at times, but eventually I replaced just about every part on that engine and now shes running consistantly and reliably (knock on wood). In The future I plan on putting in some performance options, but right now there are bills to pay.
As far as the car: Yes, 289. Holly 4160 (4v) carb. Edlebrock intake. It has some type of racing cam in it, the guy I purchased it from didn't really know much unfortanately. Everything on the engine has been replaced minus the radiator and water pump which I will probably tackle sometime this summer. It's a 4 spd manual transmission with a Hurst 'T' shifter. Interior is solid and was redone in the deluxe GT form. I have a Cd player and two 6x9s but they are nothing to brag about, just walmart crap. I was going insane after driving that thing around for 5 months with no music, radio, or anything.
As far as the plates.. yes Star Wars dork.
As far as the chick, no she is not my gf. We were seeing each other last summer, or rather seeing all of each other :roll: . Since she seems for some reason interesting here is another pic, this is as close to breasts I can get without getting banned or in trouble. Enjoy.
More pics of the car and such at <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cardomain.com/id/r3dfive">www.cardomain.com/id/r3dfive</a><!-- w -->
Hope to see some of you at the car show.

65/66 are pretty similar in my eyes. I was pretty sure it wasn't a GT because it was missing the grill foglamps up in the front...but hey, what the fuck do I know. I drive a mitsubishi. Either way I can't wait to see this bad boy on the weekend.

Welcome to MM. Julie's dad is restoring a 65 coupe, going to put a 5.0HO into it, instead of fooling with metered fuel leaks. Nice to see a little detroit iron around here.
