12 seconds in the 1/4 mile is slow ?

Wow yeah I guess it is for drag racing. A car that has an estimated 1/4mile of 12.00 though I can tell you feels fast as shit to drive hehe. I can't imagine owning something that's in the 11s, much less the 10s. Hrm, well maybe soon !

Yes...yes they do. And MIR runs T@T every sunday as well. I didn't say what day test and tunes are on, I said what days open track events are usually held.

I seriously will not have this car running well enough to send it down the track again anytime in the next month. But if you guys can pick a date I will try and come out anyway.

I wouldn't say 12 seconds in the 1/4 mile is slow. For devoted dragsters and such its slow, but for most people who go to the strip, 12's are pretty damn fast. There are only a few production cars that will pull a 12.00 stock. I don't consider a car to be in the "slow" category until the 14's.

12's on radials, in a street car, that's got a full interior..is pretty damn quick. You can build a car that's like that, and reliable enough to drive every day without having to worry about something flying apart, and still have A/C in the summer.

Speed is still relative. Watch a car put down a 12.5 @ 106. It won't seem that fast.

read this guys specs..440 RWHP SAE corrected. Still only running 12's...it takes a lot of power to go fast in a full size car. heh.

This guy also has tons of money. This is like his 3rd engine swap, 4th set of rims..etc etc

Friday evenings starting at 6 at Natural Bridge is test and tune I've been a few times last year. I think its $15 to get in and run for as many as you can get in before they close at 9. Word of advice dont go on the first of the month unless any of you all want to be in the burnout contest. They waste about a hour on that. But I do think you win something if you produce the most smoke and mayhem.
