Seriously, they're great daily drivers, and that 3.3 boxer is a work of art. It's a cult car. You either love it, and have like 3, or you think they suck.

Myuki Wrote:okay, so far the list I'm considering is at Turbo MR2's are cool, but rare. I'd imagine parts would be expensive and a bitch to work on. LS Integras are played out and slow. GSR, relatively slow and insurance would be ungodly for a young male. Oh and this is the worst part, if you drive that thing around here, everything punk will try to race you in their EF/EG hatch and Neons. That shit is enough to drive a man crazy. Subies are cool but boxer engines are wierd. Makes me a little hesistant to work on my girlfriend's Outback. Tell us what you're looking for, cause I don't see the common thread among your choices. 1 rwd w/boost, one fwd, and one awd. I don't think the prices ranges are the same. LS's are relatively cheap but GSR's aren't and boosted MR2 are rare and expensive.

.RJ Wrote:jackstands Wrote:LS Integras are played out and slow Yeah honestly I dont think an ls would be that bad. It gives you a lotta options upgrade wise, whether you want power or handling or whatever, and for a relatively cheap price. That along with the reasons rj listed above, Id say go w/the ls. Spend the money you save not buying the mr2 on the ls, and your set! I guess part of this depends on how much you actually want to work on/upgrade your car. The idea, as unrealistic as it may seem, of building something up from a piece of shit like a civic hb, or something a little more powerful like an integra ls, appeals to me. But thats just me

or buy an hb with an ls swap already done then you have to worry about thieves though :?

you'll find more ls integras in better shape than GSR's. ls's aren't picked up by the ricer crowd as much.
If I were in your situation, I would look into an older 325.

There would be no unifying theme par say, also, it might see some upgrade work down the road
