This had to be the best scenic drive ever, and I am sure everyone would agree. Pictures and a write up are coming.

definitely a quality drive. a little on the long side (3 hours+) but the scenery was intense and the roads were killer. very good turnout too!
en route to the mountains at the bottom on the other side of the first 33W mountain, takin a break filling up at a gas station in some tiny town at the beautiful summit of a mountain in the nat'l forest on the way back i tried to get a panoramic thing going here....

second on it being an absolutely awesome trip. Got a little squirrelly in the marbles from the recent snows, but still loads of fun.
I'm afraid what my car might be capable of with an engine with less than 100k miles on it and a snail

Awesome trip guys. I had the best time I've had in that car in a long time (Probably b/c I didn't make VIR...). The group did a good job of staying together or catching up. No encounters wiht law enforcement... well, any that led to anything negative....
I'll say I didn't think it'd take us 3.5 hours, but I guess all the stops really add up. So for those of you that were planning on a 2 hour trip from my origioinal suggestion, that's what happened. Awesome drive! See everyone next time!

I had to piss off some drivers in order to keep up with Pete and Dave like the SUV and some mullet guy in a lincoln. I think everyone knows about the SUV driver. I think I also scared the sh** out of Sean when he was following me on a sharp turn with a lot of gravel...let's just say I heard his tires stopping
I had a great time!

Looks like a blast and the pics were great. Wish I had woken up in time to check the forums. I'm kind of glad I avoided the rock chips as my next mod though..

Looked like another good drive. I'll make the next one...for sure.
