Yeah, I saw another article about that, and the car would also contact the dealer when anything went wrong so some shmoe from the dealership could call the woman and tell her to bring in the car. They WANT the dealer to be in control of when the car should come in? Who wants to guess what the dealership would be doing on a slow day?
"uh, lady, your car called and said it had a flimmerstat failure, better bring it in. New one's gonna run ya $300 plus labor. And the engine's gotta come out for that of course."

it should! Here's that other article by the way, it's even worse. It's not like women don't already play a part in car design, certianly all cars today incorporate features to please both sexes. They should have specified that this one was designed by cocktail waitresses.

Heres the part I like best...

I forsee this causing TONS of mistakes... Washer fluid in a gas tank or vise versa could be bad...I mean its bad enough when my mom told me she saw some woman in a SUV drive away from a gas pump with the nozzle still in the car and it ripped the whole hose off the pump!!

Hehe funny stuff, I have yet to ever see it happen but the hoses are made to detach with a certain amount of force applied.

As you can imagine, I have seen several get torn off, quite a sight I must say.
hehe good point, I didn't even think of them mistakingly mixing the two up. :roll: I'm sure the dealer would love the extra service though! What seems off about it though... if a person can figure out how to fill washer fluid, that means they have the capability to check said washer fluid. Is checking oil, coolant, brake fluid and such really any different? Are those SO much harder? I just can't understand people that refuse to learn even the very basics about their cars. Why would they want to make themselves extra powerless and vulnerable slaves to the service station?
