Maybe not full on H-n'-B material, but here's something you don't see in Harrisonburg every day.

The purple, green, and red are a terrible combo. The owner must be colorblind and the graphics shop ran out of purple and just said screw it.
I did see a burnt orange i8 on 95 a few weeks ago and it looked very cool flying up behind me via the rearview mirror.

Bruh, do you even Batman? It probably didn't come across in my photos well but it's some Joker themed wrap with some kinda neatly done 3D relief of 'hahaha and a logo' on both sides This was the only thing I could dig up on it so far. https://paintisdead.com/bmw-i8-jokester/
H&B'ed twofer comin' atcha. Part 1: Blitz stuff:
The Blitz R348 GT-R. Built for max-speed records, this car was the absolute business back in the day and is/was probably my favorite Skyline to come out of the mad tuner houses of Japan. Really happy to see that it's a perfectly preserved time capsule today, and they do a great job showcasing all the little details and quirks that went into this build. I never fully appreciated how much of a cushy street car this R34 was until this video. More of the Autobahn speed attempt can be seen at the end of this video that also has a ton of other GT-Rs punching air in its stupid face. Sidenote: Blitz had a fun history of poking German tuners in the eye by shipping their demo cars to Germany to show their mettle. Besides sending the GT-R to Germany to beat the RUF Yellowbird, their 1997 demo car Supra ran a wild-for-the-time 7:49 on the Nurburgring, beating out a Gemballa 911 (and the car's own target 7:53 moniker) and holding the fastest street-registered car title for a few years. They later ran a 7:21 with more power, less weight & slicks. Part 2: I think this answers the question - "How far can you take a Miata chassis past 11?". Hot damn. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

There is a Miata DJ could get behind.
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

i loved the Blitz stuff in the 90's. my first taste of it was the Tamiya model car kit. so many great tuner liveries from those times...Mugen, Tom's, HKS, Sard, Advan...and Blitz was always instantly recognizable.

Yasssss.....I had the Mustang Cobra R kit (TL-01 chassis) that I later got a Castrol Supra body for. They just recently reintroduced the stock Supra body in that pic - used to be super rare.

Quartz 19 turn motor which was plenty to light the front end up constantly. ![]() yes i took a phone picture of an actual film picture. to this day i still love those wheels. i still get a serious, nostalgia driven urge to get another Tamiya touring car kit. they're so well done, and look so awesome, but i know i'd get bored without other cars to race against. currently i'm dying to get the Traxxas TRX-4 Defender as a backyard crawler, i haven't been that excited about an RC kit in forever.

I usually think of height, both overall and window sills, & weight when it comes to the fat cars of today. But you're right, it's pretty shocking how wide cars are now, and I don't always notice it until I'm basically confronted by it. Case in point: The current S550 Mustang has been out for a while, but it wasn't until I saw one at MIR with the hood up last year that I just sort of stood there in awe of how unbelievably wide that chassis is. I probably could've stretched out sideways in the engine bay. Now we're hearing more & more about how cars don't fit in "standard" home garages of houses now...half the cars in my work parking deck can barely fit between the lines....it's getting pretty wild. Anyways... Quote:It's not often that a one-of-9 Koenigsegg CCXR is seen out in the wild, but cars of this nature visit our shop quite often. This particular Koenigsegg was sent to us and we were asked to "make it better." This is the result. A subtle aesthetic redesign using our signature matte dark magnesium color gives the CCXR a fresh look. The silver wheels and body trim now blend into the black bodywork, giving the Swedish hypercar a sinister and modern look. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Quote:Baller is owning a CCXR. Taking your CCXR to Canepa to upgrade it is Bruce Wayne level shit.

In the case of the Mustang, 75-76" is barely keeping up with the Jonses. And that's *only* 10" wider than a 25 yr old Miata. With today's minivan up to 79 and people are getting those in garages and parking spaces, then hell I'm surprised they don't go for 79. Damn, a Tesla S is 77, get with the program!
