Which has no bearing on determining how much your house cost you in the past.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

This is true. Skews the numbers to slightly cheaper.

I'm curious to see how the change impacts our tax liability. I'm pretty sure we'll still clear the standard, but just barely.

Current house contracted and scheduled to close in a few weeks.... finally.

Move into the new place next Friday. Remodeling the kitchen as soon as we close on the current house to free up some money.

I'm assuming you're contracting all of it out, but if you need some tools let me know.

Am I not following this at all or just dumb? How does spending money to remodel the kitchen free up cash?

you're reading it backwards.

selling current house makes money available, i'll use part of it for the kitchen remodel.  I'm gonna contract this one out... I'm excited about that.

No, it's just bad grammar.

I went to see if that movie was on Prime Video and happened upon this review. This person has nearly 2,000 reviews of Amazon. The internet is so amusing.

This should be a suitable film for most but there are a number of problems which would influence its acceptability for certain groups. It does not have subtitles for the hearing impaired. Happily, this is made in the old-fashioned way, all the speaking is articulated and given the volume to be understood by anyone who is not in the more serious categories of hearing impairment. Still in all, no DVD made in recent decades should have been deficient in this respect. For some in the potential audience, who are extremely conservative (in a social not political sense), the language will, on occasion, be over the line of propriety. I do not think this is true for the larger segment of the public but these people should be aware of the problem so as to avoid, what to them, is an impropriety. One reviewer mentions some language bothersome to their religious sensibilities, I did not notice this, but potential watcher beware.

For myself, it was a movie that, as they say, kids of all ages, could enjoy (with that pleasure, of course, diminishing in inverse proportion to their actual age). It is the theme of Pinocchio. Wizard of Oz, and who knows how many other classic stories, becoming human through the induction of certain characteristics. The robotetry (after puppetry and similar words) was quite well done, the good guys (and gal) suitably nice, and the villains suitably villainous. While much is simple minded slapstick, physical and verbal, as the use of the Three Stooges clips remind the adults watching, this is what kids get a kick out of .
At any rate, with the exceptions I point out, this is a young peoples movie which allows the adult to sit in without an eyeshade and ear plugs.

This guy is my spirit animal. Also, I learned two new words today.

I have consumed part of three cups of coffee in my life.....thus required a different nectar with which to pass the day. Tea has played that role for nearly four score and seven years. With age and the concomitant bodily failures that inevitably occur, I have reduced my consumption and sought to reduce the caffeine in my diet. While iced tea is my preference these days, I still have one large glass of tea after dinner. This product has become a favorite one, sweetened with one of the artificial concoctions, it.....to borrow a phrase from earlier years of a well known drink....really hits the spot. Tastes vary so between people as to make it impossible to suggest that you will like it............all I will assert is that I do.

I've only had this a short time......but to date it has been eminently satisfactory..........and has shown neither defects of watch or strap. The latter is quite sturdy and a bit wide......suitable for men, perhaps not for all women. I have no difficulty reading the time.........though the date number is too small for me to see..........but irrelevant to my needs. I happen to like watches that do nothing but tell one the time......for those seeking an array other gimcracks, this will probably not be satisfactory. Should it stand up to daily use, it will certainly be a great bargain at Amazons current price.

If one takes to chunk light rather than the more popular other variety of tuna, one will find this as good as the best among the popular blends. I won't compare the two types, that is very much a matter of personal taste....and, sometimes, pocketbook. I prefer the one in water since it saves calories...but if that is not an issue, why not try this one.

Okay yeah. Glad I am not an idiot. That is so poorly written going back and reading it how it should have originally been written hurts my head.

TIL that getting homeowners insurance on something with a cedar shingle roof is a giant pain in the dick, even though the seller spent $6k on repairs making it 100% good to go. If I dont get this sorted out tomorrow, we dont close next week, because all paperwork needs to be done and locked down 6 days before closing.

I never found insurance to be hard? Just expensive and replacing the roof is too. Repairs? Ah he gave it a few more years. Be ready for that 17-20k bill within 5 years :/.
