Wow ebay purchase that was delivered in 2 days!

Watch out Amazon!

Test fit, just sitting on the bumper, but when pushed into place, fitment is pretty spot on. Just need to replace the adhesive with the good 3m stuff. This lip has the 2 pieces just like the bav auto and oem lip.

Needs more low. Let me help you lower it before I cut your springs instead

Was lazy this weekend. No springs on, and no lip installed. I preferred to drink beer by the pool and hangout with the family all weekend.

But, with some summer trips planned I did pull the roof box down to clean it up. After years of sun abuse and never being washed it was showing some age.

Previously Googled some remedies, and apparently they are all gel coated, so marine/rv oxidation restorer is the way to go.

Amazon prime FTW.

15 minutes of applying with the applicator and wiping excess off with the terry cloth.

Stuff is legit..

Probably just give it a good coat prior to storing every year and it'll keep looking good for the foreseeable future.

Removed the crappy adhesive, which took a while and put on 3m stuff.

Followed the instructions off the BMW lip, as most people on youtube only use half the mounting points.

Fitment is about 98% which is what I expected.

Zero complaints, and glad to see I won't have any issues in and out of the driveway once its lowered.

State inspection just says stickers...doesn't mention tint. But regardless, I know some guys.

Threw the roof box on. Put on the bars at the recommended location. Box didn't adjust to fit on the bars. Moved front bar forward an inch. Problem solved.

Shit, the spoiler on the hatch hits if I let it go all the way up.....but thanks BMW Smile

Nice! Splitter and tint look really good. Now do the springs so I can see what they look like. I got lucky and snagged a set a few weeks ago from the forums.

Did you go ACS or Dinan?

Are you able to fit under the hatch after adjusting without ducking? I always feel like I barely have clearance and I'm only 5' 10". Maybe I went to college so I don't have to bend down?

Update after approx 4k miles of ownership.

Still really love this car, the gas mileage has been something to get used too after the previous car obviously. But being WFH, it's barely noticeable. Pretty much going from 1 tank a month to 2, and 89 to 93.

I was getting a very annoying brake squeal and when rolling through parking lots at low speeds I could hear a rotational noise. With some hard stops it would go away for a couple of days but returned.

Took it in, got new pads on the rear covered under warranty, because they still had life in them but somehow had glazed on the passenger side.

Was informed my next oil change, in about 2k miles, recommends air filter and spark plugs. Rate for plugs is $300 ish since maintenance warranty doesn't convey to new owners on 15+ BMWs.

I won't be paying for them to remove 2 plastic covers and replace 4 spark plugs that sit on top of the engine.

OEM plugs are $20 per, so I'll just do that myself.

Ricer mod:
I hate how halogens look with HID/LED headlights. The "LCI" or 16+ updated the foglight assemblies to a sealed LED. Thought about upgrading, but too much $$$ for just some better light and look. So I heard Lee's praises about Diode Dynamics, and snagged their LED foglight bulbs, which are made for halogen reflectors.

We had the same problem with rear brakes glazing and, if I remember correctly, they replaced the rotors.

Good to know. They didn't mention turning my rotors, just pad replacement. We will see if it returns.
