I haven't noticed whether it's 1:1 on my soundbar but I can't turn it up through my TV past like 25 or 26 (LG TV) without it being CRAZY loud.
Just checked, I mean I think it matches up, my soundbar goes from left to right with the dots and it's about 20% with the TV at 20

Soundbars are for bitches and people who own Keurigs.
If you have a Keurig, soundbar, and a dick, you don't deserve the latter.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

The Vizio soundbar and satellite speakers/sub is the perfect setup for 99% of home owners. I was using mine last night watching Narcos and was seriously impressed buy the sound of a helicopter coming through the rear speaker behind my head.

+1
Also, when my sound doesn't "sync" up, i just find a volume on one or the other that gives me a reasonable range. I.e. - set the TV to 50, and then just use the soundbar volume from there or vice versa.

What have you heard? It's been absolutely flawless for me and I have not heard a single complaint from any of my friends or family with iPhones. Battery life seemed to dip a little, but seems to be fine now. It's fast, smooth, and no bugs so far.
Flawless.
" But there are some really bad bugs, so bad that I can’t use the most basic features on my phone. They popped up, when I upgraded on release day. They’re still around after two months and multiple updates to iOS. Shame on Apple for ignoring this shit."

The battery life on my iPhone 8 (with iOS 11.1) has been fantastic. No bugs I've noticed so far.
I can't believe I used Samsung trash for an entire year.

I have noticed some bugs since we last discussed this, but battery life doesn't seem to be one of them. Main bug for me is the touch ID not unlocking the phone 100% of the time.

You can find third party brands that are actually docks (instead of pads) for under $20 these days. This Samsung form factor is a serious pain in the ass because there's nothing to hold the phone in place. It's also a single coil, so that means it's less likely for your phone to be places properly. The third party brands have multiple coils, so placement isn't as big a deal.
This is what I have: http://amzn.to/2zd7W7j
It's not <$20, but still cheaper than the Samsung. I have no idea if the coil placement works for iphone, but they say it does.
