engine mount inserts came in sooner than expected... i may want to put them in sunday as well. rear 500# springs might go in depending on how fast we finish up the mounts and john's car.

How'd things turn out? Get much accomplished? I just installed a Fuel Gauge, and almost froze to death in the 15 minutes I was outside.

mongooze Wrote:We (well, I) broke off a welded nut *inside* the frame rail of Maeng's Integra, while trying to get at the bracket for the driver's side motor mount. And for some reason one of the rear motor mount bracket bolt-holes seems to be stripped (although it didn't seem that way coming out).
And we did get 2 out of 3 motor mount inserts installed on the 'teg.
well, i'll get the side mount welded on so long as the engine never ever ever wants to come out of the car. as for the rear mount bolt... well i'm still not too sure what we'll do about that.
the polyurethane mounts feel much more solid (maybe because two of the mounts were very broken) than the oem mounts. letting off the clutch hard definitely feels more pronounced when it engages, but overall, its very drivable. i like it so far.
oh yeah, while under the car, i noticed a ripped cv boot too...

Sorry to hear about all the broken stuff, if it makes you feel any better, when I was replacing my clutch, I stripped out the hole on the LCA where the radius rod bolts to. FYI, I think Helms recommends that you replace the rear mount bolts when you take them off.
