SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!! - JohnC - 12-09-2004 Truck-o-Saurus Announcer Voice Wrote:Come one, come all, to see the most busted cars on earth! The most leakin-est, creakin-est, rust-buckets on four wheels! Theres oil and power steering fluid everywhere! All participants are GUARANTEED to have fingers INADVERTANTLY AMPUTATED by the evil Z of DEATH!!! So, like the voice said, we're wrenchin' on Sunday at my place. Everyone is welcome of course - and if someone brings a console and controllers, we can play some video games on our new HDTV ![]() - Andy - 12-09-2004 If I have work off, i'm down. Anyone want to ride together? *edit* got work. sorry man. - bassmangrammy - 12-09-2004 Sunday Sunday Someday - Evan - 12-09-2004 that thing got a hemi? - JohnC - 12-09-2004 And if we have more than a couple of folks, I'll fire up the grill. I should mention that I do have some Tony Roma's left over from the house warming party ![]() - Maengelito - 12-10-2004 engine mount inserts came in sooner than expected... i may want to put them in sunday as well. rear 500# springs might go in depending on how fast we finish up the mounts and john's car. - JohnC - 12-10-2004 Maengelito Wrote:engine mount inserts came in sooner than expected... i may want to put them in sunday as well. rear 500# springs might go in depending on how fast we finish up the mounts and john's car. Sounds good. - Andy - 12-12-2004 How'd things turn out? Get much accomplished? I just installed a Fuel Gauge, and almost froze to death in the 15 minutes I was outside. - JohnC - 12-12-2004 You could call it the "Day of Broken Bolts"... We (well, I) broke off a welded nut *inside* the frame rail of Maeng's Integra, while trying to get at the bracket for the driver's side motor mount. And for some reason one of the rear motor mount bracket bolt-holes seems to be stripped (although it didn't seem that way coming out). And we (well, it was I again) broke a bolt off in the mid-pipe flange on the Z. On the plus side, we got the mufflers/tips hung on the Z, and they look really good. And it sounds mean as hell with the X-pipe missing ![]() - Maengelito - 12-12-2004 mongooze Wrote:We (well, I) broke off a welded nut *inside* the frame rail of Maeng's Integra, while trying to get at the bracket for the driver's side motor mount. FYI, I think Helms recommends that you replace the rear mount bolts when you take them off. |
