Early reviews are pretty shit for it and pretty much admit it's just a Zelda device. Just buy Zelda for Wii-U and save yourself $300.

Destiny 2 is dropping later this year, probably November! As a big sendoff Bungie is revamping the VOG raid and there are rumors that the Vex Mythoclast will be brought back in full year 3 glory as part of a long quest. I'm in for that!

Nah they announced it officially on a twitch reveal last month but rumors have been ongoing for a while. Basically, Activision is bleeding cash since nobody likes COD anymore and they are dumping money into Destiny / Bungie because it's a cash cow. Still a lot to be answered but so far:
- dedicated servers (FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
- new platform, ie it won't work on legacy consoles - this will make changes more easy to make / make developers more agile in implementing change
- character face / details will transfer over but no items, emotes, shaders, emblems or anything purchased in game will transfer over. D1 players will get some in-game swag for their loyalty (not sure yet what that will be)
- Cabal will play a much bigger role in D2

People are really paying over retail for the Switch? That's nuts. I'm surprised in 2017 they haven't figured out how to produce enough to meet demand at launch.
I went into Gamestop last night and asked for a copy of Wildlands, the dude asked if I had pre-ordered it and when I said no he shoved his glasses up his nose and said "I'm sorry sir I don't think I'm going to have any extra copies." I said "K" and went to Walmart where there was a shelf full of them. :dunno:

I'm not getting my hopes for dedicated servers and I'm feeling a little leery after the current PvP fuckup but I'm looking forward to a revamp of all the raids this month. That should be fucking cool.

That should be fucking cool. YES!!! I'm excited for Destiny again! Just watched Bungie's livestream over my lunch break and here are some of the highlights they revealed:
- ALL raids being revamped to 390 light level (400 drops), fixed some stuff in Crota that made it cheesy
- 13 page triumph book (I should have a chunk of it already completed when it drops)
- 30 new ghosts in pvp matches
- 4 new challenge modes
- all new raid drops, gear (ELEMENTAL PRIMARIES AGAIN!!!!!!), and ornaments even for the current raid gear
- when you complete level 7 of your book you get a code that you can use to order another personalized shirt from Bungie.net (i have the year 2 one, it's awesome, has my gamertag on it)
A little something in the triumph book for everyone (pvpers, completionists, raiders). Should tide me over until D2

I'd be way more stoked if they unfucked the special ammo situation in PvP. It's the one thing that's got me about to rage quit and play Titanfall or Battlefield. Of course, I need to be getting my Nurburgring practice laps in so maybe this will just free up more time for me.
I am however going to be down to raid again. I haven't raided nearly as much as in year 1, to the point that I haven't finished King's Fall or Wrath of the Machine even once whereas I think I had 25 clears from year 1.

I DLd the last expansion but played for like 2 days and got caught up. What is the fastest way to increase my light levels now?
My max is 328, but that is utilizing some Rare stuff.
I used to be big into destiny before expansion as I had my friends and brother to play with. The first expansion I died off and got somewhat back into but never raided as grinding got old. I played in the second expansion and only did basic raids but more heroic strikes as I didn't have anyone to play with. I also started PVPing in this expansions as well. Haven't played this newest expansion. I would like to get back into it but would definitely like people to play with so I don't get bored.
If you guys are actually playing the newest expansion I'd be down to buy and play. Willing to run strikes, raids, pvp, etc...

My max is 328, but that is utilizing some Rare stuff. Heroic strikes, nightfalls, the higher level prison of elders, iron banner / trials and crucible should net you up to 400 gear now. It's a LOT easier to level up than it used to be, just make sure you are always equipping your highest level gear so that when stuff drops it drops higher.
