i was thinking the exact same thing. i think it has real patina on the inside of the bed if you look close, but then compare the outer skin and it looks like a manufactured appearance. still cool but i'm just sayin.

I never should've driven the thing, I've been absolutely ruined. It's the exact opposite of "where we're going, we don't need roads"...you need a LOT of road for 650hp. Holy shit, and I'm not even sure I floored it, and definitely didn't go above 5k. You don't even have time to appreciate the acceleration before either you're a potential felon or are going to hit whatever you thought was far away a second ago. Also it makes my cars look like mid-90's Camry's.

My poor wife, I'm not gonna shut up about this thing for awhile.

Yup. I've long said that like e46 M3 power is about as much as you'd want on the street. I don't know if I've drawn the line in the right place but 650 is way fucking past it. And it's so docile around town! I'm still grinning like an idiot.

I mean I'm not bitching about 460, but then you see a Z06 and know that bastard has 200 more horsepower. If I want 460 I can just look at the gimmicky HP gauge and keep it there.

Keeping the red theme of this page going - gawddang do I love me some freshly painted restoration photos. I check in on the Supra forums now and then and this guy just dropped the first few novellas in the builds section chronicling his restoration.
