Ah you must just have manlet sized wrists like me then. This Orient feels massive to me but I've gotten used to the 38mm Tissot.

Yeah, skinny wrists for sure - width of bone and skin. I could probably get away with women's watches. The angle of the photo isn't helping... I don't think it looks too big.

since we are on watch talk.
Ordered an Apple Watch adapter and 2 bands for the wife as a Christmas gift yesterday, from ClockWorkSynergy.
They called me today to ask if I would like them to install the adapter on one of the bands, and to let me know the Brushed Stainless clasp wouldn't be in for a couple of days and wanted to know if I wanted to go polished instead. Still want the brushed, so she said she would keep me posted if any delays popped up.
A+ service from those guys....and they are from Maryland, I assumed anything and anyone from there were all worthless assholes.
Would recommend if you are in the market for some new bands/pins/tools.

Nah close ups of watches always make them seem like they wear bigger than they do, that looks great man! So did I read that right that you have had three sexual encounters since the purchase??
I was reading a little bit more about Shinola and I didn't realize that their quartz movements are made in-house by former watchmakers from Rhonda (very well known Swiss movements). That would help explain the premium on those over other microbrands. Very curious to hear how accurate it stays over time for you!
I have tiny ass wrists too but wear mostly larger watches 45+mm. It's all what you are comfortable with really! Anything sub-40 feels too small for me.

My bad, Fixed...ClockWorkSynergy Ah yep I have purchased probably 7 or 8 straps from them...all good stuff! Some of their cheaper natos were a little uncomfortable until I melted some edges with a cigar torch but the nicer ones I had no issues with

I have never like leather bands, but this seriously has me considering otherwise.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
Comes in 41, but it's a light band. meh.
The green is really nice, but only 47.
...and finally the blue in 41 with a dark band... but I already have nothing but black and blue faces.

Yeah, this thread needs to be split.
I might actually prefer the green one - reminds me of Lotus. I decided to wait, given I just backed that kickstarter. I might add it to my wishlist though...

No. Didn't like it on me. I dress in black schemes and brown schemes. Two bands, one watch.

Finally pulled the trigger on this:
I know that they are, from a true watch-lover's perspective, nothing special; but I have always loved the design and I promised myself when I graduated college I would get myself one as a present. That (obviously) never happened and I have a decent sized commission coming in after closing a nice deal this quarter, saw this and decided now was a good time to come through on it. I really love that minimal, classic look and I see it has a jumping off point for me moving forward.
