Z3M would be spot on, but can they really be had in the 10k range? All the ones I've stumbled upon were upper teens/low 20's, but clean, low mileage
edit: nevermind, I guess they can be. https://cnj.craigslist.org/cto/5741690420.html

No age cutoff... although I'd feel bad driving a 2.3 Cossie through DC unless it came to me pre-beat-up a bit.

![[Image: Table-Flip-Guy.jpg]](https://imgflip.com/s/meme/Table-Flip-Guy.jpg) Jake won't own it long enough for anything to break. You own your cars so long that you'll replace every part, twice.

 nice, Taylor
i love me some audi but even i will tell you that being the 5th owner of a B5 chassis is asking for it, especially when the guy's fix-it list shows him throwing new parts at it every 1000 miles  the bi-turbo S4's are special cars, and you have to be a little "special" to own them and keep them in peak condition.
i've posted this before, but its worth repeating: the "lotus-lite" 2ZZ swapped MR-S. they do come up for sale in motorsports circles from time to time. i know, no swaps! but its soooo cool and makes the car like it was supposed to be from the factory. fine - no swap? the 1ZZ cars are still pretty sweet. 2200lbs, 35+ mpg, LSD equipped, mid engined spaceframe toyota before the brand went completely lifeless. you can get a hardtop, and you'll love the fact that it has almost no storage capacity - 100% toy, except its all corolla parts underneath so just drive it forever. $10K will get you a nice later-year model which should definitely have the LSD.
known problems are few and once you know where to look its pretty easy to fix.

B5 S4 was the best car I ever owned. Yes, even better than the 911. My wife still talks about it... almost 15 years later.
I would never own one at this point.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

I'll second that motion, although my comparisons are not 911 quality. I'd buy another for sure, but it'd be a process to find the right one. http://swf.tubechop.com/tubechop.swf?vu ... id=8355226
