The headliner is coming down from the C pillar a little and there are some small cracks on the wood trim.
CCV has a small leak resulting in some residue, typically add 1 quart every 1000 miles
The rear bumper was hit before I owned it and is pushed in a little, but is not very noticeable.
A few chips and dings on the paint are present, but nothing too bad.

Aren't you forgetting to tell people about the other 3 quarts it's burning in that time frame in your listing? It's only burning that much if you're doing super short trips like <3 miles to class every day and back. I've been using it on longer trips where it actually warms up and it's been much better. A quart of that oil was spilled on the valve cover the various times I tried to pour oil in it.
Another quart was from where it was low when I bought it.

That's important information to include in your listing since you don't know how the car will be used by the next owner. My commute is sub 3 miles also, and if I bought your car and it used that much oil in the time from, I would be beyond upset, especially if you know about it.
Full disclosure, honesty, integrity and all.....
My turn signal and brake light going out today reminded me that there is a recall out for this car for bad grounds in the brake light harness and an airbag recall. Hitting a bump will make the brake lamp failure indicator come on, but the lights won't be out. I'll add that as well.
You might be able to fix it by cleaning up the contacts on that weird bulb holder thingy.
Now: 07 Porsche Cayman S | 18 VW Tiguan
Then: 18 VW GTI Autobahn | 95 BMW M3 | 15 VW GTI SE | 12 Kia Optima SX | 2009 VW GTI | 00 BMW 540i Sport | 90 Mazda Miata | 94 Yamaha FZR600R | 1993 Suzuki GS500E | 2003 BMW 325i | 95 Saab 900S
Once it stops raining, I'll check. I really like how easy it is the get to every bulb back there. BMW engineers are bros.

Yeah it works really well until those contacts start to corrode.

![[Image: Post-faceliftbulbhousing.jpg]](http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r158/olaf2046/Post-faceliftbulbhousing.jpg) Why is that necessary? The only other car I have seen with a more asinine system (similar but uses a PCB instead of metal leads) is a Volvo 240.

None of that is the problem. The ground wire burns out the pin from being overloaded and makes the connection weak at the harness. When the wire moves, the OBC says the lights are oit.

Funny story, that was the issue with the 240 as well, once the board degraded all the pins started to burn up. Why in the world BMW thought that design is better than screw in bulb sockets that cost $5 each to replace and never fail is beyond me. Typical German complexity where there doesn't need to be any.

Driving in the rain tonight reminded me that the AC compressor is STUPID loud. I guess I'm adding that to the list of shit wrong with this thing.
For all the shit I have given you, in all seriousness, I'm sorry this thing is giving you so much hell. If it were me, I would drop the price and offload it quick.

You live and you learn. Overall I'm happy to have had the experience of owning it. The tags expire in a week so I'm letting them run out and I'm in no hurry to sell it. I just won't drove it after this week. I just hope whoever buys it appreciates how honest I'm being with the problems. All of these thing were wrong with the car when I bought it and I didn't notice until much later.

Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk Be careful, you can get into a vicious cycle by doing that. My buddy racked up hundreds in fines because his tags expired, so his insurance dropped the car because they considered it to be unregistered due to the expired plates. Then, because it was unregistered, the MVA was fining him because the car was uninsured, but he couldn't get it insured until it was registered, which the MVA wouldn't allow until it had insurance....

How are you going to let anyone test drive it on expired tags should they want to buy it?

I didn't think about that! I'll go ahead and order my tags. It's kind of funny that both of my car's tags fall so that I have to have my mom order them for me because they'll only ship them to back home and I'm always at school.
Okay, I'm dropping the MM price to $3000. I'm tired of seeing this car every time I get in my truck to drive somewhere. The temptation to drive it is too much. I've been killing it at work leading into finals week, so I guess I can take the loss.
