Why does Dinner have to be at 6:30 solid? There is sunlight until 8, and plenty of excellent roads to just drive around on. A drive down to Staunton would be neat, just take some of the backroad ways there and stop at Gypsy Hill Park. We obviously don't have reservations at Quaker, just say fuck it and find some mcdonalds or something afterwards.

I just said we discussed it. We spent 3 hours together last night and the major part of it was looking at other routes. Chill the fuck out. We aren't very comfortable doing another route with such a large group because of what happened the ONE time we tried something else. We haven't given up, so get your panties out of your ass please.
I know for a fact y'all would be crawling up me if I said we cancelled dinner for a 4 hour cruise as well. We are looking into a route to where y'all won't complain of it being boring AND we won't get pulled over and we can finish before the sun sets.
We have O'Neils reserved at 6:30.

Are you allowed to park in the same parking lot if you aren't actually there for the 9-10AM registration period like last year? I don't really care about officially showing my car if you're closing registration that early, but I'd like to park in the same lot still.
There is probably a 99% chance I'm not going to make it before 11.

Yeah we ARE having a cruise... Like...overreaction?
Since its a group discussion now we have:
Stephens options, which are shorter but that's cool. I'm down.
We have the Augusta county cruise which we did in the fall which is a fantastic route but very long.
33 is still an option but west Virginia probably doesn't have a "vdot" anymore so their side is shitty.
We also have the road that connects 33 to va 257. Its residential and kinda slow but beautiful scenery.
Reservations I suppose can be changed but the sooner the better so I can let them know. That's no big deal.
As for the possible consequences of crashes, deaths, people going stranded, being ticketed, homicide and maybe suicide? I'm gonna leave that up for everyone else to talk out. I won't be driving. I'll be in someone's passenger seat.

There are 86 drivers signed up for the autocross as of 3 PM on Thursday. If things go to form I expect the final number to be close to 100. That means there will be a lot of people to check in and a lot of cars to have technical inspection. Please, please, please plan to get to the autocross early. Registration opens at 8:30 AM on Sunday. The trailer will be onsite and I will be setting up the course starting at 7:30 AM. I'm old and slow, and the cones are heavy  so any help is always appreciated.

Be careful on 211, I got slammed with a speeding ticket there a couple years ago from a cop hiding at the bottom of a hill.

:lol: Thanks guys, I did take it every single time to JMU and back from JMU when I went to college. Goodspeed, more than welcome to join us, for the most part itll be cruising near the speed limit, but bouts of fun every now and then.
