If you want to better pinpoint the oil leaking problem, autozone sells a "dye" kit that you put in the oil/fuel/radiator (whatever is leaking) and then use a blacklight + glasses that come with the kit to see the dye... Should help you find the culprit instead of tossing a bunch of parts at possible fixes.

Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk I don't work Friday, if you want I can come over we can jack the rear up and double check damn near everything else under the car to make sure its not anything else. I was rethinking the way the sounds got worse over the course of the drive and i think we should take a look at some bushings, better safe than seriously pissed off after spring break that its still clunking. I'm borderline dragging you by the collar to get back under there with me friday in my mind right now
Also, I took 2 pictures:

Drive shaft is put back together with a new CSB. Whether or not I did it right, I really don't care. It'll be someone else's problem soon.
I just need an extra set of hands to put it back in, but it seems no one is free.
I can help over the weekend if you haven't put it back together by then.

Yea it sucks but I did all mine by myself....twice. The real bitch was the exhaust cause I elected not to separate the mid pipe from the muffler. That bitch was a pain but I got it done. Just laid it on my chest and flopped around on the floor until I was out from under the car lol

LOLOLOLOLOL. We suck. Those "LOLs" aren't real, by the way. I'm pretty pissed off. Here's why.
The Guibo is bad.
How did we miss it? Who knows. Maybe we're idiots, maybe we're blind, maybe it's maybelline.
I got everything back together and I was spinning the guibo to tighten the bolts and I realized the engine side of it (The side I couldn't see when I was taking everything off) is completely ruined. Gone. Not existent. Just to confirm it, I put everything back together and drove it around the block. Same symptoms. I probably didn't even put the CSB in properly. Who knows. I don't care.
OEM Guibo ordered.
That is depressing :vomit:
The only thing that stops a bad guy with a van is a good guy with a van
Oh well. I might be complaining and whining about it all, but we know I secretly love it. Hopefully the Guibo gets her Saturday or Sunday (Does UPS or Fedex deliver on Sunday?) and I can drive back to Lynchburg friday for my interview, and then give a ride to some people down to G-Force then get the Miata search underway.

I'll definitely think about it. Thanks, guys. Maybe my next project thread won't be 10 pages of me running around like my hair is on fire.
I just ordered two used tires for the rear. I can get new Powerflex RTABs for $80 and I kind of want to order some and put them on so the tires don't destroy themselves in a month. What do y'all think? It'd be a pretty solid car after that and I feel like I could get more than $80 back out of it selling it with new bushings.
Thoughts?

Didn't you just say you were done with it? Get some new tires, lower your outrageous asking price on CL to something reasonable and wait for the right offer. Might seem dickish, but I doubt most of your prospective buyers won't be that concerned about asking about bushings.
