That selfie though. Looks like it is all coming together now. What gauges? And what are they reading?

Auto meter digital gauges. They are reading "zero" because they aren't hooked up to the sensors yet. Oil temp and pressure is what I'm monitoring

It's my second ever selfie... I'll work on my selfie swagger

The oil pressure is reading high (at the filter; 78 psi lol) so I'm thinking I've compression issues... not many cares given (unless it blows the filter off, but it hasn't yet). 240k miles, fresh 10w30, Honda s2k filter...

The big hole in the roof is plugged. I ran out of pop rivets but I only need a couple of more.

I'll probably redo the front corners to pull the tighter...

swapped to HP+ pads for the interim hopefully I like them better then the stoptech pads.

StopTech pads aren't going to surprise you with grab. They are for OEM like feel, but help ease off some brake fade with higher heat tolerance.

i ordered a new pressure sender and a 45* offset... when i mounted the sandwich plate it tweaked the pressure sender against the coolant pipe. hopefully that's my crazy pressure reading.

My car will be ~65 psi on cold start up, after sitting for awhile.. Did the oil PSI stay in the 70's? Mine usually settles in around 40ish I think during idle.

Did you get the sandwich filter adapter? The one I had previously was a POS and didn't seal against the factory oil warmer.... so keep an eye on it.

I've got a mocal plate in there right now. I was going to bed in pads today but without anyone home to call in if it fails (yes I'm watching it) I figured I'd wait.

my idle stays high for a while. I'll see what it reads when I take it out to bed pads in later on.

wow, never seen one of those go bad. Drop intake manifold, should be a bit easier.. still a shit job.

I'm pretty sure I messed it up when the oil pressure sender on the mocal plate pushed against it. I just reinstalled a new sender with a 45* kick so it doesn't touch the pipe. but its still leaking... damage is done I guess.

in theory I can remove the thermostat housing, one hose, and a 10mm bolt and get at it from the bottom/side. we shall see. I need to get parts overnighted so I know I have enough time. Sad

I'm soaking the two bolts I have to remove (steel bolts in aluminum head) and getting myself ready to be covered in coolant... And I should be there Friday night

better knock that out tonight to ensure it was those seals that were causing that leak. It's no fun chasing down a leak last second.
