Can we talk about karting?

I read the first page. here are my suggestions:

1. stop planning events that at best lose money. Maybe you lose a little on last minute flakes or something, but dont plan it that way from the start.
2. dont get hung up on geforce. Its a shitty track with shitty karts thats far away, and last I heard they didnt even want to do the enduros anymore. Summit Point Kart is better in every way and is very flexible.
3. if there arent club bylaws (or whatever you want to call them) that state how club money can be spent, there needs to be.

Other than that gforce is indoors and this event was originally centered around the colder months of the season when its too cold or nasty to really do anything else.

I've never been to summit. Is it nice?

Its nice in that its a bigger track with faster(some argue more consistent or even) karts. And its outdoors which is awesome in the spring and early fall. Around novemver with freezing rain\sleet, not so much. Ask me how i know. Still fun but not feeling your hands for an hour after your stint is less fun

And party the night before an autocross and show up 20 minutes late hung over and spend the down time sleeping in the back seat (wasn't me, just the car I co-drove)
