Are you working Grid or Timing and Scoring? I know she was looking for someone to take my spot in T &S.
2019 Impreza Sport
She mentioned both and said it was more of a training type session rather than full on responsibility...that being said if its easy enough, i get the hang of it and I'm allowed to i don't mind doing it

She needed someone to cover my spot on grid I think too although she told me she wouldn't need me this event anyways. I think I'm going to start getting shunned because of my absences.
Someone tell her I promise I'll be better next season when o figure out what the hell Im doing with my life

Can't make it to this one, good luck guys. Looks like you may get a little wet if we get those PM showers. It's fun in the rain...just a little hard to see

Great, great weekend! My Saturday was full of challenging moments (to be detailed in my project thread) but I still managed to get most of my seat time and have a good ol' time.
Dad got to Hyperdrive my M3 (on DJ's BFG race tires, lucky guy) and Mom did a Hyperdrive in her Crossfire. Both of them had a blast and definitely learned some good things during the brief 20 minute stint. They both seemed interested in coming back for a full HPDE weekend, which I think would do 'em good.
Chris, Samantha, Matthew and Garrett - great seeing you guys! I know exams are about to happen so it was nice to have that many MM students out.
And of course, always good to hang out with the regular track crowd. These weekends are always big highlights of my year.

Was great seeing the current students who were able to make it out. Sorry I couldn't hang out too much during the day, I shouldn't abandon the tech shed too often.
It was a great weekend to get a glimpse of some exotics, 430 Challenge, Aston Vanquish S, & 458 Spyder. Each owner was incredibly nice and down to earth, especially considering my life is worth less than their shoes.
Lets do this again sometime.....how bout in 4 days? See you guys at VIR.

The weather turned amazing for this past weekend! Blue skies all day (until some rain at night), and some wind blowing through so it wasn't too warm.
Had a strong field in gts2 and managed to squueze out another 2 wins. Had an epic battle with Steve Laderman who was in a class above me for overall lead for 40 straight minutes. It could not have been any better. 26 laps of hard fought racing with multiple people coming up saying how close we were (and many thought we hit each other multiple times), and lots of side by side action through the carousel and out of 9.
Quote from cornerworker:
"Tell the drivers of cars 175 & 186 that was the closest, cleanest and best racing I've seen in a while. They came out of the carousel side by side and stayed that way through turn 9 going up the hill several times."
Those type of races makes it all worth every penny. The car was uber reliable with the only hiccup of changing the oil at the track I forgot to pop back on the washer on the drain plug. Just had to pop it out and put a new one on. I am actually quite surprised by how the car stayed cool in hard hard racing on the back of this guy's bumper for 40 minutes with no clean air.
Was hoping to crack my own record, but with all the battling I didn't quite manage to get it done. Gave ride alongs to a lot of people, and am ready for VIR in 5 days!

Even the dogs were exhausted after this weekend. They went straight to bed when we got home.

So yeah, it's really fucking hard to see at night, in the rain, with the glare from the lights. Kart wouldn't turn at all without throttle so eventually they just called the race. First time I t-boned someone while going backwards...
