Yeah, some times I think I'd want a shop to do my lift, that way I know it's done right and if something goes wrong, I have someone to blame.

Then again, I wouldn't be a real car guy, would I?

Fender rolling is something I wouldn't mess with because I know nothing about it.

When it comes to doing something as big as a lift I would think opting to make a shop do it would just make you not much of a mechanic. However paying a shop to change your oil and rotate your tires is a different story.

lolz, im the complete opposite. Oil change + other small work like that = i'll take it to a shop. Not worth the effort in stuff like that when I can just drop the car off and have it done (and then not have to goto the dump to throw away oil, etc).

ps. To the OP, there are a lot of people that started their own fender rolling side business jobs. Might be worth looking into if you don't end up finding a fender roller.

ps. To the OP, there are a lot of people that started their own fender rolling side business jobs. Might be worth looking into if you don't end up finding a fender roller.

I found one in Roanoke. I've seen he has gotten a lot of compliments from people. He is a little over $100-$150 for all 4 which seems like a good deal. That is rolling the fender as far as it will go he said.
