Not much to know, its a very basic car. Being a '92, it probably doesn't have any issues with the early car's short-nose crank design ('90-'91), other than that all I know to really check for on the NA's are for rocker rust, other than that its all the usual used car stuff...

Lol. Turning the A/C on in that little 1.6L Miata I had was both completely ineffective at cooling the inside of the car, and affected power so dramatically I literally feared for my life while trying to keep up with traffic.

I barely use A/C even in the house till the damn roommates complain. I always have to remember to cycle a/c in my cars that have them because I never use them. Doesn't bother me. :dunno: I always have the truck if its 100+ out.

Wow I am the exact opposite. I can't stand sweltering and sweating in my car in the summer. It definitely gets hotter down here than it does up there but I always had the AC blasting in my vehicles in NoVA

I hate "processed air" when I'm driving. My trick with the Miata when it's high-noon, sun's a'blazing and I want to drive somewhere, is to drop the windows and un-zip the rear window from the roof, but leave the roof up. That keeps the sun out, but the open back window lets quite the breeze come through. Makes driving with no A/C on a 90° day entirely bearable.

I'm with Lee on this one - pretty much any car with AC on a hot day > one without. I miss the air conditioning in my Grand Prix - that thing would form ice on the windows on a humid night. When I was on the BABE rally I made it all the way to Alabama before spending one tenth the car's value to fix the AC in an auto zone parking lot...
